Founded in late 2024 by filmmaker Sally Ngoiri, Kick Ass Films was built on a simple belief: great stories have the power to change how we see ourselves, our communities, and the world around us.

We are a Kenyan film company creating bold, meaningful stories across film, television, and emerging formats. At the heart of our work is a commitment to both storytelling and people — developing original work while creating space for the next generation of filmmakers to learn, experiment, and find their voice.

We believe the future of African storytelling is bigger when more people have the opportunity to tell their stories. So, we’re building a company where ambitious stories, fresh talent, and meaningful impact can grow together.
